Local Sales Manager Role


We are looking for a Local Sales Manager to join ARC Club, a neighbourhood workplace perfectly positioned for the future of hybrid working. Your mission will be to develop new prospective members for both of our Clubs, in Homerton (Hackney) and Camberwell Green and you will receive commission on all sales qualified leads.

This is a full-time role based across neighbourhoods in Homerton and Camberwell Green, with an immediate start date.

The Local Sales Manager Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a defining role at ARC Club, leading on the generation of all new outbound sales leads for our two Clubs, as well as handling central inbound enquiries.

You will be a key face of the business in both the Homerton and Camberwell Green communities. You will embody the brand and as such play one of the most important roles within the ever-expanding team. It will be vital that you are able to effectively engage and work with both existing and potential new members, becoming a part of local networks to build ARC’s presence in each community as well as more direct sales approaches.

As ARC Club looks to scale, you will work directly alongside the broader team to create the model for sales best practice that we will take to our further 50 planned sites.

What we’re looking for

Given the scope and importance of this role, we’re looking for a driven commercial and cultural entrepreneur with passion for working to clear targets, capable of creating their own sales leads and rapidly converting centrally-driven enquiries, with the desire to have fun while doing it.

Specifically, the ideal candidate:

  • Is a successful, energetic self-starter, with strong initiative and work ethic.
  • Is confident in striking up new relationships, able to communicate clearly and have an ability to influence decision making.
  • Has ambition and the drive to surpass targets.
  • Is organised and has the ability to review their own performance as the month progresses, utilising the tools available to follow process and guidelines required.
  • Is a strong team player, focused & dedicated to delivering success.
  • Is excited to be part of a growing movement to change the way we share space and work

We are looking for applicants with 2+ years experience in all or some of:

  • B2B and/or B2C direct sales, including door-to-door / face-to-face field sales
  • Target focused role, with track record of achieving or beating sales targets
  • Local networking and partnership building
  • Working with Hubspot or similar CRM / lead management software

What you’ll be doing

  • Effectively identifying and closing new outbound sales opportunities in Camberwell and Homerton through:
    –  Door-to-door selling
    –  Engagement with community leaders, local influencers and networks
    –  Local marketing partnerships & initiatives
    –  Remote deal making and lead sourcing
  • Responding to central inbound sales enquiries to secure them as sales qualified leads (tour or trial completed and walk-in enquiries that lead to a tour or trial completed)
  • Day to day engagement with potential members and sales partners
  • Construct, forecast, and manage your sales pipeline via Hubspot CRM
  • Work with team members to develop sales techniques
  • Participate in periodic team reviews and updates on business progress
  • Provide regular feedback on the ARC Club product from prospective members / users

You will also receive huge support and helpful resources from the broader ARC Club team, starting with a comprehensive induction to our brand and product, to ensure you have the tools you need to sell effectively, alongside the freedom and autonomy that comes with this role.
